మార్చి 14 వరకు అంబేద్కర్ వర్సటీ ఆన్ లైన్ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్లు
తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ ఓపెన్ యూనివర్సిటీ డిగ్రీ అర్హత పరీక్ష-2015కు ఆన్ లైన్ రిజిస్ట్రేషన్ గడువును మార్చి 14 వతేదీవరకు పొడిగించినట్లు యూనివర్సిటీ రిజిస్ట్రార్ ఎ.సుధాకర్ శనివారంతెలిపారు.ఈ ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష ఏప్రిల్ 12 వ తేదీన ఉదయం 10 గంటల నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 12.30 గంటల వరకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్,తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాల్లో జరుగుతుందని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.

తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;విభజన చట్టంలో ఏపీకి ఎన్నో హామీలిచ్చిన కేంద్రం బడ్జెట్ లో కొచ్చేసరికి ఏపీ ప్రజల నోట్లో మట్టికొట్టిందని పీసీసీ ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు ఆనం వివేకానందరెడ్డి విమర్శించారు. బడ్జెట్ లో ఏపీకి తీవ్ర అన్యాయం జరిగిందని ఆరోపిస్తూ పట్టణంలోని మైపాడు గేట్ వద్ద కాంగ్రెస్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఆందోళన నిర్వహించి మానవహారం చేపట్టారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆనం మాట్లాడుతూ లక్షల కోట్ల రూపాయల బడ్జెట్ లో రాష్ట్రానికి సరైన కేటాయింపులు లేకపోవడం బాధాకరమన్నారు. ఏపీని చిన్నచూపు చూస్తున్నారనడానికి ఇది నిదర్శనమన్నారు.
ఏప్రిల్ నుంచి ఒక్కొక్కరికి 5 కిలోల బియ్యం
తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;ఏప్రిల్ నుంచి ఒక్కొక్కరికి ఐదు కిలోల చొప్పున కుటుంబ సభ్యులందరికీ రేషన్ బియ్యం పంపిణీ చేస్తామని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ప్రకటించారు. కుటుంబానికి 20 కిలోల బియ్యం పంపిణీ చేసేలా ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న నిబంధనను ఎత్తేస్తామని చెప్పారు. కర్నూలులో శుక్రవారం ఆయన సామాజిక సాధికారిత మిషన్ ను ప్రారంభించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఏర్పాటు చేసిన బహిరంగసభలో ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ పోస్టాఫీసుకు వెళ్లలేని వృద్ధులకు ఇంటివద్దే పింఛను ఇస్తామని,వేలిముద్రలు పడలేని స్థితి ఉంటే ఐరిస్ ద్వారా పింఛన్లు ఇస్తామని తెలిపారు.
వ్యాపారం కోసం ఎక్కడ్నుంచో రాలేదు
తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;నేను కొందరిలా ఇతర జిల్లాల నుంచి ఇక్కడికి రాలేదు.వ్యాపారం కోసం వచ్చినవాడినికాను.వాటి కోసం రాజకీయాలు చేస్తున్న వాడిని కాదు.వ్యాపారాల కోసం రాజకీయాల్లో కి వచ్చిన వారు ఎన్నాళ్లుంటారో...ఏ పార్టీలో ఉంటారో నాకు తెలీదు. నేను మాత్రం 34 ఏళ్లుగా టీడీపీలోనే ఉంటున్నా రాజకీయ కుటుంబంలో పుట్టాను. రాజకీయాల్లో పెరిగాను. ఎన్టీఆర్ యూనివర్సిటీలో క్రమశిణ నేర్చుకున్నాను అని మంత్రి అయ్యన్న పాత్రుడు పరోక్షంగా మంత్రి గంటా శ్రీనివాసరావు పై విమర్శలు,వాగ్బాణాలు గుప్పించారు.

తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;డ్వాకా మహిళలు,అంగన్ వాడీ కార్యకర్తల సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి కృషి చేస్తానని వైఎస్ఆర్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ అధినేత,ఏపీ ప్రతిపక్షనేత వైఎస్ జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి పేర్కొన్నారు.బుదవారం పులివెందులలో ఆయనను కలిసిన డ్వాకా మహిళలు, అంగన్ వాడీ వర్కర్లు తమ కష్టాలు వినిపించారు. 13 నెలలుగా టీఏ బిల్లులు రాలేదని ..8 నెలలుగా అంగన్ వాడీ భవనాల అద్దె బిల్లులు కూడా ఇవ్వలేదనివైెస్ జగన్ కు వివరించారు.మున్సిపాలిటీలో ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించిన ప్రకారం ఒక్కొక్క అంగన్ వాడీ కేంద్రానికి రూ.3 వేలు ఇవ్వాలని..రెండు నెలలుగా అంగన్ వాడీ వర్కర్లకు జీతాలు ఇవ్వకుండా సీడీపీవో వేధిస్తున్నారని వారు వైఎస్ దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు.

ఎంసెట్ కు డీఎస్సీ పరీక్షల ఇక్కట్లు
తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రంలో ఎంసెట్ నిర్వహణకు డీఎస్సీ,కర్ణాటక పరీక్షలు ఆటంకంగా మారే సూచనలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి.అదేవిధంగా డీఎస్సీకి కూడా ఎంసెట్ పరీక్షల వల్ల ఇబ్బందులు తలెత్తే పరిస్తితి ఏర్పడింది..రాష్ట్రంలో ఎంసెట్ ,డీఎస్సీ రాత పరీక్షలను ఒకే సమయంలో నిర్వహిస్తుండటమే దీనికి కారణం.దీంతో ఆయా పరీక్షలకు నిర్వహణ పరంగా సమస్యలు తలెత్తే అవకాశాలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయి.ఏపీలో మే 10న నిర్వహించనున్న ఎంసెట్ కు 2 లక్షల మంది హాజరవుతామని అంచనా.ఇందుకు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 400 పరీక్షా కేంద్రాల అవసరం ఉంది. ఇక భాషా పండితులు,వ్యాయామ ఉపాధ్యాయ రాత పరీక్షలకోసం 65 వేల మంది దరఖాస్తు చేశారు. ఈ పరీక్షలు మే 10న మధ్యాహ్నం 2 నుంచి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు జరగనున్నాయి. ఇదే సమయంలో ఎంసెట్ మెడికల్ పరీక్ష కూడా జరగనుంది

Kejriwal govt cuts power tariffs by 50% in Delhi
New Delhi: Twelve days after coming into power in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government on Wednesday slashed power tariff by 50 percent for consumption up to 400 units per month and 20,000 litres of free water per household every month that would cost the exchequer around Rs 1,670 crore annually.
The Delhi government's decision will benefit around 90 percent of Delhiites, announced Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia here after a Cabinet meeting.
The Cabinet meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The cut in tariff and the free water scheme will be effective from Sunday (March 01).
"The reduction in power tariff will benefit 36,06,428 families, which is around 90 percent of the city's population," Sisodia said, adding that those consuming over 400 units would have to pay the full bill. Water tariff will also be charged if the consumption limit exceeds 20,000 litres.
After the announcement, Kejriwal took to Twitter to assure that he would fulfil other poll promises too.
Sisodia also said that around 18 lakh families will be able to reap the benefits of free water and informed that the Delhi Jal Board has been directed to speed up the process of setting up infrastructure to provide water to colonies which do not have pipelines.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the free water is being extended to group housing societies as well and all the consumers under the scheme will not require to pay any other charges including the sewerage charge. In the free water scheme announced by the first AAP government, the group housing societies were kept out.
On free power scheme, Sisodia said the government will review power rates after Comptroller and Auditor General of India completes audit of the accounts of the power discoms and submits its report.
Earlier, the Chief Minister had met Comptroller and Auditor General Shashi Kant Sharma and discussed the status of scrutiny of finances of the private power distribution companies by the auditor which was ordered by the AAP government in its first stint.
The power subsidy scheme will cost the government Rs 70 crore for the month of March and a total of Rs 1,427 crore for the next financial year.
Sisodia said relief in electricity bills will continue even in the eventuality of any tariff hike by Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission.
For the water scheme, Rs 20 crore will be required for March and a total of Rs 250 crore has been set aside for 2015-16. This estimate includes the cost of installing more meters to allow more people to get the benefit of piped water.
The benefit of the water scheme will be made available to the consumers having metered connection.
"We do not make false promises. That is why today we decided to provide major relief to the citizens of Delhi. We have delivered on the promises," Sisodia said.
Cutting power tariff and providing free water were major election promises of AAP which had won a whopping 67 out of 70 seats in the Assembly polls earlier this month.
Officials said per unit of power from 0-200 slab will cost Rs 2 per unit while it will be Rs 2.97 per unit in the 201-400 slab. The rate for 401-800 slab will remain at Rs 7.30 per unit.
The city has seen a series of hike in power tariff in the past few years.
The tariff was hiked by 22 percent in 2011 followed by five percent hike in February 2012. The tariff was increased by up to two per cent in May 2012 year and again by 26 percent for domestic consumers in July 2012.
It was hiked by up to three percent in February 2013 and again by five percent in August last year. It was again enhanced up to seven per cent in November last year.
Attacking the BJP, Sisodia said the the ruling party at the Centre did not show any interest in solving problems faced by people of Delhi during President's Rule.
"Today is an important day for the aam aadmi (common man). We are happy to announce that as promised, we are slashing rates of electricity by half and will provide free water," he said.

On the night/morning of 24-25 Feb 15, Indian Coast Guard undertook three different Search and rescue operations off the coast of Jakhau, Gujarat. Braving rough seas and weather conditions, ICG coordinated and rescued 21 precious lives from three sinking Barges during these operations. A brief detail of the incidents are enumerated below:- (a) Rescue of 04 Crew of Barge Sea Pearl. At about 2230 hrs on 24 Feb 15 ICG Station Jakhau, Gujarat received a telephonic call from Port Officer, Jakhau Port regarding sinking of barge 'Sea Pearl' with 05 crew about 09 Nm into Jakhau sea. Within minutes ICG Hovercraft H-189 was immediately launched for Search and Rescue. which was held during the Numaish Industrial Exhibition in Hyderabad. The event was graced by the

తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో మొదటి సారిగా జరుగుతున్న ఇంటర్మీడియెట్ పరీక్షల నిర్వహణకు పకడ్బందీ ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా జాయంట్ కలెక్టర్ రజత్ కుమార్ సైనీ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.మంగళవారం ఇంటర్ పరీక్షల నిర్వహణకు వివిధ శాఖల అధికారులతో తన చాంబర్ లో సమీక్షించారు.మార్చి 9 నుండి 27 వరకు జరిగే ఈ పరీక్షల నిర్వహణకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందుల
రాకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని జిల్లాలోని 229 పరీక్షా కేంద్రాల్లో లక్షా ఆరువేల 621 మంది విద్యార్థులు ఇంటర్ మొదటి సంవత్సరం పరీక్షలకు హాజరుకానున్నారని ఆయన తెలిపారు.ద్వితీయ సంవత్సరం పరీక్షలకు 92 వేల 654 మంది విద్యార్థులు హాజరు కానున్నారని దీనికి సంబంధించిన ప్రశ్నాపత్రాల భద్రతకు 47 పోలీసు స్టేషన్ లను గుర్తించినట్లు తెలిపారు. ప్రశ్నాపత్రాల భద్రతకు కట్టదిట్టమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆయన పోలీసు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

బ్యాంకు ఉద్యోగుల వేతనాలు 15 శాతం పెరిగాయ్
తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;2012 నవంబరు నుంచి వర్తింపు 25 నుంచి ప్రభుత్వ రంగ బ్యాంకుల సమ్మె లేదు 2,4 శనివారాల్లో బ్యాంకులు మూత1,3 శనివారాల్లో పూర్తి రోజు పని చేస్తాయ్ 2012 నవంబరు నుంచి వర్తింపు ప్రభుత్వ రంగ బ్యావకుల ఉద్యోగులకు వేతనాలు 15 శాతం పెరగనున్నాయి.ఇవి 2012 నవంబరు నుంచి అమల్లోకి వస్తాయి ఇక ప్రతి నెలా 2,4 శనివారాలు కూడా ప్రభుత్వరంగ బ్యాంకులు సెలవు.దీనికి బదులుగా 1,3 శనివారాలతో పాటు ఉంటే 5వ శనివారం కేడా పూర్తి సమయం బ్యాంకులు పని చేస్తాయి.ప్రస్తుతంఅన్ని శనివారాల్లో ఒక్కపూట మాత్రమే పని చేస్తున్న సంగతి విదితమే.
ఫలితంగా వేతన పెంపు కోరుతూ ఈనెల 25 నుంచి 4 రోజుల పాటు తలపెట్టిన దేశవ్యాప్త పమ్మెను సిబ్బంది విరమించుకున్నారు.
పింఛనుదారులను వేధించకండి
తెలంగాణ వెబ్ న్యూస్;పింఛనుదారులను వేధింపులకు గురిచేయవద్దంటూ బ్యాంకులను కేంద్రప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశించింది. పదవీవిరమణానంతరం పింఛను పొందుతున్న ప్రభుత్వోద్యోగులను స్వయంగా బ్యాంకుకు వచ్చి లైఫ్ సర్టిఫికేట్ లను సమర్పించాల్సిందిగా ఒత్తిడి చేయరాదని సూచించింది. పింఛను కొనసాగింపునకు ఈ సర్టిఫికేట్ ను సమర్పించడం తప్పని సరైనప్పటికీ...ఆధార్ ధృవీకరణ,సంబంధింత అధికారుల సంతకాలతో సహా అది పక్కాగా ఉన్నప్పుడు..స్వయంగా రావలసిందిగా ఒత్తిడి చేయనేరాదని ఉద్ఘాటించింది. పింఛను దారలంతా కూడా ఏడాదికోసారి తాము జీవించే ఉన్నట్లు ధృవీకరించే పత్రాన్ని సమర్పించాల్సి ఉంటుంది.

Jiji Mammen called on the Honourable Chief Minister and said, that, this year they are funding Rs. 360 Crores for Mission Kakatiya and would extend to Rs. 500 Crores during the next financial year. He told the Honourable Chief Minister that the Drinking Water Supply Project would be funded from NABARD Infrastructure development fund as part of RIDF (Rural Infrastructure Development Fund) loan. He also assured the Honourable Chief Minister that with government guarantee, NABARD also bring down the rate of interest. Mission Kakatiya has T-NRIs in tow
Herndon, VA: Telangana State Minister for Irrigation, T Harish Rao on Tuesday impressed upon
Telangana NRIs about his Government’s unflinching commitment and efforts to irrigate every acre of the
agricultural land in the State in the next 3-4 years and appealed to all Telanganites to be part of their
dream project, Mission Kakatiya with a missionary zeal.
Mr. Harish Rao was speaking to the 715 NRIs from countries like USA, UK, Australia, Singapore and Gulf
regions in a phone-in programme, a TDF-USA initiative aimed at bringing them closer to the Government
and the leadership and help collaborate in the development back home. The TDF had successfully
organized a similar program with the Deputy Chief Minister, Kadiam Srihari recently which saw about
600 NRIs taking part.
Mr. Harish, who accompanied the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to Mumbai for talks with the
Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis on the inter-State water issues, caught up with the
callers just prior to his departure from Mumbai. He answered to the questions with great composure.
Not to mention, his command over the nitty-gritty in his subject area, floored the audience.
Mr. Harish said that Mission Kakatiya, with the tag line, mana vooru, mana cheruvu (our village and our
lake), is one of the illustrious projects for the Government. “Lakes in Telangana region enjoyed a great
legacy of 1000 years. They thrived under the Kakatiyas, Quli Qutubshahis and the Nizams. However, they
suffered due to callous attitude of successive governments in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh affecting
people from all walks of life in Telangana. Mission Kakatiya is being taken up on a war-footing to revive
around 45000 lakes with 9000 every year until 2019 and with a huge budget of INR 20,000 crores. These
lakes require renovation and repair and should be freed from encroachments in some cases. Once they
were restored, they can store around 260 TMC of water and irrigate up to 25 lakh hectares in the State.
Apart from agriculture, the project would provide succor to communities like fishermen, washer men
and other artisans, who are greatly dependent on water. It also provides sort of cultural and spiritual
identity to the villages,” explained the Minister.
He said the government was overwhelmed with the response pouring in from various quarters like TJAC
and the four-lakh TNGOs, with the latter donating a day’s salary for the project.
Harish sought to dispel the feelings of most of the NRIs who were unsure if they were welcome to be
part of the ‘mission’ and outlined the modalities for adoption of the lakes.
“No project aimed at reconstruction of Telangana is complete without your (NRIs) participation. We
welcome you with both hands to be part of this grand project. There is no hard and fast rule as to how
much money you (NRIs) should contribute towards this. The government is willing to name the lakes
after the family members of the NRI who donate and adopt them,” said Harish, adding “if needed, we
are even willing to open a bank account for the donations to flow in. There will be transparency and
accountability in the whole process by way of updating the information with pictures regularly on the
government website.”
Harish also promised the NRIs that his department would maintain a close coordination with them
through calls and emails.
He reiterated his government’s commitment of giving safe drinking water to all villages and towns in
Telangana. “There is no doubt about that. We stand by his (CM’s) words that we won’t go to next
elections without keeping that promise.”
How much is your government dependent on the promised Central aid? Will the projects be stalled if
the grants are not forthcoming?
“Well, everyone is aware that Telangana is a backward region and facing drought, farmers’ suicides and
migration. We have an obligation to change this scenario. The Central Government is also sensitive to
this situation and we are pretty positive about help coming our way. We have approached the World
Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency and NABARD and received favourable responses too from
them,” said the three-time legislator, who was first elected to Assembly at the age of 32 in 2004.
Asked if his Government is on a confrontation path with neighbouring States on the water issues even
after the formation of the State, Harish said: “We definitely want good relations with our neighbours.
That is the reason our Chief Minister is in Mumbai today to meet his Maharashtra counterpart. We are
out to settle all the disputes amicably. Similarly, we are open to a dialogue with the Andhra Pradesh
government on the problems confronting us today. However, we cannot compromise on our fair share
of the resources. We have to understand and appreciate the fact that Telangana movement itself
revolved around (equitable distribution of) water, funds and employment (opportunities) for
Telanganites. Hence it is extremely important for us to get the share we deserved in all these spheres
and we have to fight against any injustice in this regard.”
Lamenting the plight of Hussainsagar Lake in Hyderabad, which smacks of pollution and encroachments,
the Minister said efforts are being made to clean the lake and save it from further encroachments.
To a question, Harish, who holds Marketing portfolio too, said that his department is looking to
eliminate middlemen and create/improve storage facilities for farmers so that they get fair price for
their produce.
Earlier, TDF-USA’s Cultural Chair, Janardhan Pallela started the proceedings with an ode to lake and how
it shaped the lives of people dependent on that. TDF-USA lauded Harish’s role and the energetic
influence he had on the Telangana movement. They urged him to show the same spirit in the re-
construction of Telangana. Harish remembered TDF founder, Late Prof Jaishankar and acknowledged the
intellectual, moral and financial help TDF and other Telangana organizations lent during the agitation.
Mr. K.V. Ramanachary, Advisor to the Government, was instrumental in planning the event in
coordination with TDF President Mr. Vishweshwar Kalavala. Many in the TDF ranks and other
Telanganites readily came forward to donate and adopt lakes after the call. If the response of the NRIs
was any indication then Harish’s office should soon be inundated with emails and phone calls from the
‘sons of the soil’

The Indo Turkish Cultural & Food festival will showcase the glorious flavors of Turkey with an extensive range of traditional mouth watering Turkish dishes. A renouned Turkish Cook is being specially flown in from Turkey to prepare the delicacies like the Turkish Doner Kebab and a very special selection of Baklava Sweet which are popular Turkish dishes. The festival will not only showcase an array of authentic and sumptuous Turkish cuisine but will also feature elements of Turkish and Indian culture including Sufi Dance with soul stirring music & poetry. The event will have colorful Turkish Folk Dances by dancers specially flown in from Turkey giving Hyderabad is a flavor of True Turkish culture. Any cultural event on Turkey is never complete without a display of Turkish Calligraphy. At the festival the masters of the art, will be showcasing their original and mesmerizing work. 1960 - 1990 మధ్యలో మీరు పుట్టినవారే అయితే ఇది మీకోసం.. వీధుల్లో ఆటలాడి, నేర్చుకున్నది మనదే చివరి తరం. పోలీస్ వాళ్ళని నిక్కర్లలో చూసిన తరమూ మనదే. స్కూల్ కి నడుచుకుంటూ, మధ్యలో స్నేహితులని కలుపుకొని వారితో నడుస్తూ వెళ్ళిన వాళ్ళం కూడా మనమే. చాలా దూరం వాళ్ళు అయితే సైకిళ్ళ మీద వచ్చేవాళ్ళు. స్కూళ్ళలో టీకాలు ఇప్పించుకున్న తరమూ మనదే.. మనమే మొదటగా వీడియో గేములు ఆడటం. కార్టూన్స్ ని రంగులలో చూడటం. అమ్యూజ్ మెంట్ పార్కులకి వెళ్లటం. రేడియోలలో వచ్చే పాటలని టేప్ క్యాసెట్లలో రికార్డింగ్ చేసినవాళ్ళం. అలాగే వాక్ మ్యాన్ తగిలించుకొని పాటలు వినేవాళ్ళం. అలాగే ఇంటర్నెట్ లో చాట్ రూం లలో మాట్లాడినవాళ్ళం.
