తేది-31-12-2015 ప్రకటన గ్రామీణ తెలంగాణకి ప్రభుత్వ నూతన సంవత్సర కానుక-భారీగా నూతన పంచాయితీ భవనాలు మంజూరు  గ్రామ పరిపాలన వ్యవస్ధని బలోపేతం చేసేందుకే అన్న పంచాయితీరాజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి మంత్రి కె.తారక రామారావు  1000 నూతన పంచాయితీ పంచాయితీ భవనాల నిర్మాణాలకి మంజూరీ  దీంతో రాష్ర్టంలో గ్రామ పంచాయితీ కార్యాలయం లేని ఓక్క గ్రామపంచాయితీ ఉండదు  ఇప్పటిదాకా గ్రామ పంచాయితీ భవనాలు లేని 344 గ్రామాలకి నూతన భవనాలు  శిధిలావస్థకి చేరిన పాత పంచాయితీ భవనాల స్ధానంలో కొత్త వాటిని నిర్మించేందుకు మరో 656 గ్రామ పంచాయితీ భవనాల మంజూరీ 1000 నూతన పంచాయితీ పంచాయితీ భవనాల నిర్మాణాలను మంజూరీ చేస్తున్నట్లు పంచాయితీరాజ్ మరియు ఐటి శాఖ మంత్రి కె.తారక రామారావు తెలిపారు. గ్రామ పరిపాలన వ్యవస్ధని బలోపేతం చేసేందుకు తమ ప్రభుత్వ చిత్తశుద్దిని చాటుకునేందుకే నూతన సంవత్సరం తొలి రోజు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకోనునున్నట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. గ్రామాల అభివృద్ది కోసం ఇప్పటికే తాము గ్రామ జ్యోతితో చిత్తశుద్ది తో ముందుకు వెలుతున్నామన్నారు. మన ఉరూ- మన ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా పలు గ్రామాల్లోని ప్రజలు తమ దృష్టికి తీసుకుని వచ్చిన నేపథ్యంలో గ్రామ పంచాయితీల నూతన భవనా

పంచారామాలు
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోని ప్రసిద్ధ శైవక్షేత్రాలను పంచారామాలు అని పిలుస్తారు. పంచారామాలు ఏర్పడుటకు స్కంద పురాణంలో వాటి స్ధల పురాణం ఇలా వివరించబడినది.పూర్వం తారకాసురుడు అను రాక్షసుడు శివుని గురించి ఘోర తపస్సు చేసి శివుని ఆత్మలింగము సంపాదిస్తాడు.దీనితో వర గర్వముతో దేవతలను అనేక రకాలుగా హింసలు గురిచేయగా దీనితో దేవతలు విష్ణుమూర్తిని ప్రార్ధించగా శివపార్వతుల వల్ల కలిగిన కుమారుడు వల్లనే తారకాసురునిపై యుద్ధానికి పంపుతారు.యుద్ధమునందు కుమారస్వామి తారకాసురుని కంఠంలో గల ఆత్మలింగమును చేదిస్తేనే మరణము కలుగునని గ్రహించి ఆ లింగమును చేదిస్తాడు.దీనితో తారకాసురుడు మరణిస్తాడు.చేదించగా ఆ ఆత్మలింగము వేరై ఐదు ప్రదేశములలో పడుతుంది. తరువాత వాటిని ఆఅ ప్రదేశాలలో దేవతలు ప్రతిష్ఠ ఛేస్తారు. ఇవే పంచారామాలు.

పంచపాండవులు

మహాభారతములో పాండవులకు అత్యంత ప్రాముఖ్యము కలదు.పాండవులు అనగా పాండురాజు కుమారులు.వీరు ఐదుగురు అందుచేత వీరిని పంచపాండవులు అని అంటారు.పాండురాజుకి ముని శాప కారణముగా ఏ స్త్రీ అయితే సంఘమిస్తే మరుక్షణమే మరణించును.పాండురాజు భార్య కుంతీ దేవి తనకు ఉన్న వరము కారణంగా కోరుకున్న వారితో సంతానం సిద్దించును.దీనితో పాండురాజు తన వంశం నిర్వంశం కాకూడదని కుంతీ దేవిని నీ వరము ఉపయోగించి పుత్రులు కావాలని కోరతాడు.తన భర్త అజ్ఞానుసారం కుంతీ తన వర ప్రభావముచే ధర్మరాజు,భీముడు,అర్జునుడు లకు జన్మనిస్తుంది.ఆ తర్వాత కుంతి పాండు రాజు రెండవ భార్య మాద్రి కి ఈ వరము ఉపదేశించడం వల్ల ఆమెకు నకుల సహదేవులు జన్మిస్తారు.
పంచపాండవులు
1.ధర్మరాజు - అజాత శత్రువైన ధర్మరాజు పాండవులలో పెద్దవాడు.ధర్మరాజు యముడు వరం కారణంగా జన్మిస్తాడు.
2.భీమసేనుడు - అతిబలశాలి అయిన భీముడు వయిదేవుడు వరప్రభావం చేత జన్మిస్తాడు.
3.అర్జునుడు - ఇంద్రుడు వలన విలువిద్యాపారంగతుడైన అర్జునుడు జన్మిస్తాడు

1.  To mitigate hardship of customers of O & M Div XV, Serilingampally, Twelve additional tankers have been deployed to supply drinking water to following areas on 11-12-2015; Chandanagar, HUDA Colony, Vemkunta, Taranagar, Subhashnagar, Bhikshapathi Enclave, Suraksha Colony, etc. About 50 free tanker trips were provided.

Installation of 30 HP online booster at Hafeezpet on PH-I; Installation of 30 HP online booster near BHEL, Taranagar cross roads on PH-I; Enhancement of off-take from existing 150 to 600 mm for HUDA Ph-I & Chandanagar at  old police station on Ph-I; Enhancement of existing 200 mm dia off-take to 600 mm dia at Hafeezpet on Ph-I;   Enhancement of existing 200 mm dia off-take to 400 mm dia  at Miyapur cross road on ph-II; Enhancement of existing 150 mm dia off-take to 250 mm dia at Deepthisrinagar on Ph-I; Junctioning the existing 600 mm dia pumping main to existing 350 mm dia  on Ph-III; line at Financial district pump house Interconnection between 300 and 150 mm dia main for integration at Nehru Nagar Lingampally on PH-III; Installation of 20 HP booster on Bachupally on Bollaram village 300 mm dia  line; Tanker filling point at Chandanagar connecting with ELSR outlet; Tanker filling point at Mayuri Nagar connecting with ELSR outlet; Interconnection between existing 300 mm dia line from Hydernagar with 400 mm dia off-take at Miyapur cross road on Ph-I.

2.  The Water problem arise at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital on 8-12-2015 has been resolved.  There was some short fall felt in hospital because of replacement of valve at Asifnagar filter beds.  Now water is supplied normally and today the residual chlorine was also tested and found satisfactory.

3. Executive Director reviewed water supply position and Revenue Collection in      O & M Div VI, VII, IX of O & M Circle-II and instructed the employees to improve Revenue Collection as more power charges to be paid because of additional pumping charges of Godavari Project Scheme.

 Providing water supply to the upstream areas of Lingampally and Hydernagar 

Master Balancing reservoirs.

Earlier these two master balancing reservoirs used to receive water from 

Manjeera Phase-I, Phase-II, Phase-III and Phase-IV schemes. 

The trunk mains from Patancheru to Lingampally and Patancheru to Hydernagar  

are passing through Lingampally areas. Therefore, earlier the water supply to the 

enroute colonies used to be directly drawn from these trunk mains before the 

water reaches to the master balancing reservoirs. 

In the present scenario due to no drawals from Singur and Manjeera, water is 

not flowing through these mains from Patancheru to Lingampally / Hydernagar 

In view of the above it is proposed to supply the water through these mains in 

the reverse direction from the Lingamaplly reservoir towards Patancheru and 

from Hydernagar reservoir towards Patancheru and to provide supplies to the 

enroute areas along these trunk mains. 

The required junction works and installation of pumps and motors and other 

connected works are completed at Lingampally reservoir. 

The supplies are released from Hydernagar reservoir to the following areas : J.P. 

Nagar, Mayuri Nagar, Deepti Sri Nagar, F.C.I Colony, Old Hafeezpet, 

Mythrinagar, Madinnaguda areas. 

Further the other areas such as Suraksha colony, Gowtham Nagar, Gangaram 

part are also programmed to be supplied from Lingampally reservoir in the 

reverse direction from the trunk mains. 

 Providing mobile tanker supply.

Due to no supplies from Singur and Manjeera sources to its command areas, 

there was a sudden rise in booking of tankers. Now with close monitoring and 

diversion of tankers it has been normalized and same will be continued without 

much difficulties to the customers.

 Commissioning of new reservoirs in the old city. 

It is proposed to commission the new reservoir at Bandlaguda including its 

distribution network on 10.12.2015 by completing all the balance minor finishing 

works to provide water supply to about 10,000 houses which are dependent only 

on tanker and borewell supply since many years. It is programmed to open one 

special single window cell unit to sanction the new water supply connections 

instantly to avoid any delays duly verifying all the documents at site to prevent 

the prospective customers without going around many offices and it also 

prevents the unauthorized connections.

Report on Financial Assistance required under SDRF for providing drinking  water 

supply during the year 2015-16 / 2016-17

 Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) is providing 

drinking water of 365 MGD for the entire area of GHMC including certain villages and 4 

No's of municipalities enroute. The supply meets the requirement of all State and 

Central Government institutions including Defence establishments, Secunderabad 

Cantonment Board etc. and industries like BHEL,ECIL, HCL etc.

 Due to failure of monsoon this year (June to Till now ) water levels in Singur, 

Osmansagar,  Himayat sagar and Nagarjunasagar sources have considerably reduced 

when compared to the last year levels as shown in the following table as on 30.11.2015.

 It is anticipated that there will be severe water crisis for the months of December till 

next monsoon.

 Bore wells which used to supplement the water requirements have likely to go dry 

because of drought condition prevailing in the State.  Hence, the problem will be further 

compounded.

 Power breakdowns, are likely to cause further dislocation of water supply services 

because water supply in Hyderabad is predominantly dependent on pumping system, 

since Krishna and Godavari are power dependent sources. The following contingency 

plan is worked out to address the issues during the year 2015-16.

ACTION PLAN:

 At Osmansagar reservoir the present level is 1757.290 ft. as on 30.11.2015. From 1-05-

2015 onwards 05.00MGD water is being drawn instead of normal 25.00 MGD with the 

arrangement of Emergency pumping and it is sufficient upto 28-02-2016. 

 At Himayathsagar, presently 5.00 MGD is being drawn by gravity upto 31-12-2015 and 

later with the arrangement of Emergency pumping and the available water is sufficient 

upto 30-06-2016. 

 The present level in Singoor Dam is 510.787 mts and the water at 120.00 MGD was 

drawn from 20.05.2015 with the arrangement of emergency pumping upto 30.11.2015. 

At present only 20.00 MGD is being drawn and the available water is sufficient upto 31-

03-2016 and water from dead storage can be drawn with arrangement of secondary 

pumping arrangements. 

 The present level in Nagarjunasagar reservoir is 509.000 ft and the water at 247.00 

MGD is being drawn at present. It needs to draw water by emergency pumping 

arrangement once the level touches 505.00 ft and needs secondary pumping 

arrangements once the level goes beyond 500.00 ft.

 Due to low levels in the reservoirs it may not be possible to provide piped water supply 

to certain elevated locations and needs to provide the water through tankers.

 HMWSSB will also take up repairs to the existing bore wells and convert the hand bore 

wells to power bore wells wherever water is available. 

 HMWSSB will take up installation of static tanks at new locations where piped water 

supply is not possible and alternate arrangement for water supply is required.

 Power breakdowns are likely to be experienced during the year and require generators 

at certain pumping houses and chlorination plants to ensure continuous pumping during 

local load shedding and power breakdowns of CPDCL.

 Due to depletion of water levels, water drawl from the dead storage are likely to contain 

high turbidity, growth of algae, etc which may require special treatment procedures 

including use of chemicals like Activated Carbon, Non-Ferric Alum etc., to address water 

quality issues. 

 It needs diversion of Krishna/Godavari water to Manjeera system at Lingampally 

reservoir premises, Hydernagar reservoir premises, at Shaikpet and other locations so as 

to meet the short fall in Manjeera system.

I.    Transmission System 

i) Osmansagar System:

      a) Emergency pumping arrangements for extended period including

ii) Himayathsagar System: 

      a) Emergency pumping arrangements including necessary equipment. 0.20 

      b) Arrangements to divert the stagnated water from pools to the pumping  

area by constructing temporary bunds, channelizing with excavator 

etc., 

      c) Procurement of chemicals like poly Aluminium Chloride, Non- Ferric 

Alum and Activated Carbon to overcome the water quality issues while 

drawing the water from dead storage. 

      d) Arrangements for diverting Krishna water to Himayathsagar system 0.20 

iii)   Manjeera system: 

a) Erecting platform for secondary pumping arrangements including 

necessary equipment.

b) Dismantling, shifting and reassembling the existing emergency 

pumping equipment including all necessary mechanical and electrical 

items at secondary pumping platform. 

       c) Arrangements to divert the stagnated water from pools to the pumping  

area by constructing temporary bunds, channelizing with excavator 

etc., 

    d) Procurement of chemicals like poly Aluminium Chloride, Non- Ferric Alum 

and Activated Carbon to overcome the water quality issues while 

necessary equipment.

Manjeera system at Lingampally reservoir premises.

g)  Arrangements for diverting Krishna / Godavari water into Phase-I of  

Manjeera system at Lingampally reservoir premises.

h) Arrangements for diverting Krishna water into Phase-II of Manjeera 

system at Hydernagar reservoir premises.

i)  Arrangements for diverting Krishna water into Manjeera system at 

Shaikpet Nala. 

j)  Arrangements for diverting Godavari water into Manjeera system at 

Kukatpally by interconnecting 1800mm dia MS pipe to 700mm dia MS 

pipe.

k) Arrangements for diverting Godavari water into Manjeera system at 

Kukatpally by interconnecting 1800mm dia MS pipe to 800mm dia MS 

pipe.

l) Arrangements for diverting Krishna water to Manjeera system from 

Mailardevpally pumping station to Bahadurpura with all necessary inlet 

and outlet arrangements at necessary places. 

m) Arrangements for diversion of Krishna water to Manjeera system from 

Prashasannagar reservoir to Thattikhana reservoir. 

iv) Krishna System

a) Emergency pumping arrangements including Electrical pumping 

installations, formation of Earthern bund, channelizing etc., 

b) Secondary pumping arrangements to cater to the first level  

emergency pumping station once the level  depletes to 500.0 ft in 

Nagarjunsagar reservoir with supplying and fixing of necessary 

submersible pumps, electrical panels, making sump etc.,

   c) Diversion of Krishna Phase-III water to Krishna Phase II system by 

linking Ring   mains of both phases near Shaikpet to cater to the 

areas fed by Singoor system. 

    d)  Procurement of chemicals like poly Aluminum Chloride, Non- Ferric 

Alum   and Activated Carbon to overcome the water quality issues 

while drawing the water from dead storage. 

v) Godavari system

a) Emergency pumping arrangements including Electrical pumping 

installations, formation of Earthern bund, channelizing etc., 

VI)  Contingency plan to meet power breakdowns:

 Providing generators at pumping stations to ensure continuous pumping 

during load shedding operation / power breakdowns. 5.00 

II.   Distribution System

    a) Transportation of water through tankers to the Ill Served areas where 

piped water is not possible  due to insufficient water : 

    b) Repairs to Hand Pumps and converting hand pump bore wells to power 

bore wells where ever possible to supplement piped water supply :   

    c)  Repairs to Static Tanks / New Installations in the areas where piped 

water supply cannot be given due to insufficient water. 

Total Calamity Relief Plan for 2015-16 / 2016-17   works out to  Rs.134.30 

Crores.

WATER BULLETIN

1) Calamity Relief Fund : HMWSSB requested the Govt to provide Rs. 134 Crores. 

The letter addressed to the Govt is appended.

2) Consultants for preparation of DPR for 164 villages with ORR – Ten bids received 

– Consultants will be entrusted in few days.

3) Godavari Drinking Water Supply : Provided Godavari water to Quthbllapur 

covering the areas of Jagadgirigutta, Shapurnagar, Chinthal etc.

4) Mobile tankers diversion to O&M Div No: VI areas from other divisions due to 

complete the pendency.

5) Inview of depletion of sources of Singur & Maneera, its drawls are under curtail. 

The area under these sources are Serilingampally, Kukatpally, Quthbullapur and 

Banjarahills, Sanathnagar, Borabanda, Erragadda area. Mostly in couple of days 

the total supplies will be stopped from these sources. Normal drawls from 

Manjeera is 45 Mgd and Singur is 75 Mgd totalling 120 Mgd. Today the drawls are 

restricted to 60 Mgd. 

Further it will be limited to only 20 Mgd, which will be supplied to the customers 

situated in Medak District area. As such the total shortfall from Manjeera / Singur 

source will be about 100 Mgd to Hyderabad City.

6) Proposal for supplementation to Manjeera / Singur source area : Programmed to 

supply from Godavari is 28 Mgd regularly from 02.12.2015 and 57 Mgd from 

05.12.2015. Further, from Krishna Phase III, 5 Mgd will be supplemented from 

02.12.2015 and will be increased to 10 Mgd from 10.12.2015. Therefore by 

10.12.2015, total supplementation from Godavari & Krishna Phase III is about 67 

Mgd against 100 Mgd and programmed to supplement additional 28 Mgd from 

Godavari so that about 95 Mgd will be supplied against 100 Mgd to the Manjeera / 

Singur supply area.

WATER SUPPLY PROPOSALS TO THE VILLAGES SITUATED WITHIN ORR

TELANGANA WEB NEWS:

 In order to provide the required infrastructure of water supply to the villages 

within the ORR as per standards, the consultants are being engaged for preparation of 

DPR. EOI issued, RFP's provided to the prospective consultants and last date for 

receipt of the offers is 30.11.2015. 

Meanwhile, detailed discussions were held with 'RWS' Engineers to assess the 

present water supply status in various villages. 'RWS' Engineers have provided the 

existing details of sumps, borewells, water supply distribution arrangements etc.

Based on the inputs, HMWSSB is working out the further details required to meet 

the summer contingency and the long term proposals for construction of new reservoirs, 

inlet mains and distribution network. Tentative contingency plan under Calamity Relief 

Fund and non-CRF components, the proposals are prepared for Rs. 50 Crores for 

meeting the water supply crisis during ensuing summer.

The scouring was completed in major stretch of Ring Main from Ghanpur Reservoir at Shameerpet to Quthbullapur Village point at Vani Chemicals, Jeedimetla Industrial area. Hon'ble MLA of Quthbullapur visited the location of water scouring point where the turbidity is almost cleared and ready for supply to the customers / citizens of Quthbullapur area.

The people are cautioned that being the first supply from Godavari River to the City after travelling of 186 km through main pipeline and 25 km from Ring Main, certain turbidity of the pipeline may prevail even after the scouring the pipes at various feasible locations, as such they may further filter or disinfect the water before consuming.

This is not a small festival. It is being organised for five days, said Rama Rao.  No city can become a metropolis city, if there is no social life. Our government is working hard to ensure that aspect in the city he said.  The festival will earn lot of recognision to the city he said.

 

When asked to comment on the out come of the Warangal by poll, he said, what is there for me to say. People have already said in the form their verdict. We need to work now, he said.

The concept is the brain child of Rotary Club of Banjara Hills andRachnoutsav, city's one of the biggest event management companies. The event has taken its own good time to conceptualise and to give final shape.  And it will be an annual event which people in twin cities will look forward to every year. 

 

The objective of ACT Fibernet Sky Fest 2015 is to raise awareness of freepalliative care(of a medicine or medical care relieving pain without dealing with the cause of the condition) and counselling, Sparsh Hospice has been providing services since 2011 to terminally ill patients particularly cancer patients.  It is not just the patients alone, their attendants are also provided with free food and accommodation

 

Sparsh Hospice is a 15 bedded hospital located in a rented building in Banjara Hills.  This biggest ever fund raising festival is organised to generate funds to expand its scope by adding new facility.  The Trustee, who on average spends Rs 4.00 lakh per month running it.  Now there is a huge demand to accommodate more patients.  Every year nearly 20,000 people are dying of cancer in twin cities.  The demand for such care is exploding.  There is no care extended by government in this area. 

 

The event of this magnitude is planned to raise Rs 5.5 crore capital fund required to build its own premises and expand the capacity from current 15 to 50 beds.  The trust has already approached government for a lease of land to construct the building, which is pending with the state government. 

 

The trust also enjoys exemption of donations under 80G(50 %) and 35 AC(100% to the extent of Rs 5.5crore). 

 

It also has FCRA(Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) permission from the Central Government to raise donations from foreign sources. Global organisations with local presence can donate for the cause and still can get tax exemption in their respective countries.
