MINISTER FOR PRIT K TARAKA RAMA RAO REVIEW ON TELANGANA DRINKING WATER PROJECT 30-03-2015 పత్రికా ప్రకటన తెలంగాణ డ్రింకింగ్ వాటర్ ప్రాజెక్టు మీద పంచాయితీరాజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి కె.తారక రామారావు సమీక్ష తెలంగాణ డ్రింకింగ్ వాటర్ ప్రాజెక్టు మీద పంచాయితీరాజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి కె.తారక రామారావు సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. ప్రాజెక్టు ఇంటెక్ వెల్స్ టెండర్ల ప్రక్రియ పై అధికారులతో సమీక్ష నిర్వహించిన అయన, పనుల ప్రారంభమైన అరాతీసారు. ఓకటి రెండు రోజుల్లో ఇంటెక్ పనులు ప్రారంభమయ్యే అవకాశం ఉందని అధికారులు మంత్రికి తెలిపయజేశారు. ప్రాజెక్టు డిపిఅర్ కి కీలకమైన లైన్ సర్వే అన్ని జిల్లాల్లో పూర్తయినట్టు మంత్రి కె.తారక రామారావు తెలిపారు. లైన్ సర్వే పూర్తయినందున సాద్యమైనంత త్వరగా సెగ్మెంట్ల వారీగా డిపియార్ల పూర్తి చేయాలని అధికారులను అదేశించారు. ప్రాజెక్టు ఉపయోగించాల్సిన పైపులైన్ల ప్రమాణాల అధ్యయనం చేసి అత్యుత్తమ ప్రమాణాలున్న పైపులను ఏంపిక చేయాలని అధికారులను కోరారు. ఇందుకోసం వివిధ పైపులను వాడుతున్న ప్రాంతాలను సందర్శించి క్షేత్ర స్ధాయి సమాచారం తీసుకోవాలని అధికారులను అదేశించారు. తెలంగాణ డ్రింకింగ్ వాటర్ ప్రాజెక్టు కోసం అర్ధి

If Raahgiri is rocking, TSIIC is the happiest institution
Hyderabad, March 26……In the last 10 weeks, Raahgiri Day has become the biggest and coolest citizens’ initiative in Hyderabad. It has been a game changer in terms of bringing awareness about non -motorized transport and need for public places. Physical activity of the people though in small number is on the increase.
The Temporary closing of the street to motor vehicles helped in sensitizing people towards sustainable transportation, developing safe streets for all road users, promoting Road Safety, advocating healthier lifestyles, addressing issue around air pollution, inclusive city development, Improving quality of life in the city
Nearly 50,000 people have participated in Raahgiri by the end of the tenth week. Awareness has been created through media among the lakhs of people. Large number of them are regular visitors. Infact Raahgiri is waking up people, who otherwise would have confined to their homes and relax within four walls of the home.
I never use to wake up before 11.00 am on a Sunday morning. And the only recreation time on a Sunday is to visit shopping malls & movies. We did not had many options. But Raahgiri changed my life habits. Now I am looking forward every Sunday and waking up by 05am to reach Raahgiri, said one of the IT employee in a FM Radio conversation with Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, MD of TSIIC, the man behind Retrofitting of IT Parks & Raahgiri initiatives
That’s what our objective was, reiterates Mr. Jayesh Ranjan. To improve the healthy life styles and create more public spaces in Cyberabad and make this a best place not only for work but also to live he said.
If Raahgiri is rocking on somany counts in Hyderabad, there is one organization, people of twin cities owe a lot. And that is TSIIC. TSIIC--Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation under the 5 point program or Retrofitting of IT Parks launched Raahgiri. Together with Cyberabad Police and their support, Raahgiri has become the most happening community activity.
The initiative, The Retrofitting when it was launched in July 2014, immediately after the news government swung into power with the aim of improving economic performance, work environment, employability and environmental aspects.
Mr. E.V, VenkataNarsimha Reddy, Executive Director of TSIIC says, the five-point agenda programme includes making the existing building green and barrier-free, waste management (both solid and e-waste) in industrial parks, promotion of ‘cycle-to-work’, increasing green cover in the zone and storm-water management along with rain water harvesting he informed
To take forward Retrofitting program, TSIIC iniated Raahgiri. Eleven weeks down the lane, Raahgiri is now a eagerly looking forward to weekly affair for the people around Cyberabad. Raahgiri is changing lives of " Cyberabadi's . It has become a platform where various activities are being done to create awareness about making a Green Cyberabad
Huge response received from the corporate companies for Raahgiri is an indication of how this initiative made a difference. Because of these changes many Companies are willingness to come forward to support this initiative. Industry forums like HYSEA, TiE, NASSCOM using Raahgiri to spread their messages on various issues. A startup community event was held as part of the Raahgiri Day. Also, Cyberabad Security Council for woman used this platform to conduct RaahgiriForWoman last week. CSC conducted a cycling ride to promote cycle to work. From coming three weeks the focus of Raahgiri will be to Cycle to Work. TAF(The Active Fraternity), which is partner in the initiative has played very big role in inclucating habit of cycling to the work places. “Almost 400 people line up each week at our free bicycle renting facility. This is apart from many other groups who pre-order bicycles from us for their cycling events” sayd Deenanath founder of TAF Sports.
Another indication for growing popularity of cycling to work is Cycling Stations, Cycling Tracks. Some companies went ahead and created parking stations for cycles. Cycling is back with bang. Cycle Tracks, Cycle Parking Places, Cycle Repairs etc are coming up. Lot of corporate executives are using cycling to
office. We want to encourage more to bike to work. It helps to build a healthy workforce. There is no denying fact that healthy employees boost a company's bottom line. The perception of two wheeler parking is changing now in city. Two wheeler means now cycle as well. Some of the companies are coming up with exclusive cycle parking for the beauties which IT people call as Bike
Cycling is the new golf. It is a self initiated initiative by many in city today. Get fit, go green and save money on fuel by biking observed Vishala, Consultant - IdentCITY, who is planning to organise some Cycling Events. We have many CEOs who cycle to their offices.
Google, JDA, HSBC, ADP, Broadridge, Wells Fargo, GE, Tech Mahindra and Bank of America are some of the companies that promote cycling as a mode of commuting among their employees in a big way. Some of them even have separate cycle parking areas.
“Cities across the world have now started re-purposing the roads designed for vehicles into streets designed for people. We should learn from these examples and design our roads to promote sustainable travel choices. Raahgiri Day is indeed a pilot project to showcase to the stakeholders that people can indeed be happy by reducing the space allocated to vehicles on the roads” said Prashanth Bachu, Project Manager of EMBARQ India.
TSIIC is also planning to work with EMBARQ India on few other issues related to sustainable transport. EMBARQ India is a non-profit organization that goes beyond research to find practical ways to protect the earth and improve people’s lives. It works together with local municipal authorities to reduce pollution, improve public transport and create safe, accessible and attractive urban public spaces. The organization has more than 40 experts in fields of Architecture, Transportation Engineering and Urban Planning, Working Across more than 20 cities in the country.
People engagement is key in any initiative. PPP model is not only in the Infrastructure but also in the community initiatives to be worked out. Our intention is to create active communities to make our next plans successful. We are very happy with the response from various organizations, companies and individuals on Raahgiri initiative. Inauguration of New Office Premises of NABCONS, ABFL and launching of "First NABARD Deccan Haat"
Chairman, Dr. Harsh Kumar Bhanwala and Deputy Managing Director, Shri R Amalorpavanathan inaugurated the new office premises of NABARD Consultancy Services Ltd. (NABCONS) at 2nd floor, NABARD Officers Quarters, Masab Tank, Near Golkonda Hotel, Hyderabad on 18 March 2015 at 09.30 A.M. Chairman appreciated the role of NABCONS and expressed that more avenues for consultancy in both States may be explored. He wished great success for NABCONS in their future role. DMD inaugurated training centre for MEDP project and capacity building programmes.
Later, Chairman also inaugurated ABFL (Agri Business Finance Ltd.) office at new premises on 3rd floor NABARD Officers Quarters, Masab Tank, Near Golkonda Hotel, Hyderabad. DDM Shri R Amalorpavanathan and other dignitaries were also present.
Chairman and DMD also had Press Conference at ABFL premises. Main issues discussed were support to Mission Kakatiya, RIDF support to the State of Telangana and integrated support to state of Andhra Pradesh. Support to SHG groups was also detailed by Chairman.
In the same premises, “Nabard Deccan Haat”, a collection of artisans products from nearby States, inaugurated by our Chairman in the presence of Shri R Amalorpavanathan, DMD, NABARD and Shri Jiji Mammen, CGM, T & APRO, NABARD, Hyderabad. Among other dignitaries present on the occasion were Shri R.N.Dash, RD, RBI, Hyderabad, Shri R K Rajpur, GM, RBI, Shri Durga Prasad, SLBC Convenor, Andhra Pradesh, Chairmen of RRBs and other Senior Level State Government Officials and Bankers in the event. The Mela will remain open from 18 to 24 March 2015 in the above premises.
Speaking on the occasion Chairman while appreciating the efforts of the R.O in showcasing and selling the artisans’ products emphasised the need to sell these artisans products through wide publicity in print and electronic media and also through e-craft portal which NABARD had sanctioned to eFresh Portal India Ltd, Hyderabad. Shri R Amalorpavanathan, DMD suggested that this type of Mela which R.O proposes to conduct every year may be conducted in a centrally located places where more visitors can be drawn with wider publicity. He advised that last day of the Mela should end with workshop like learnings, sales made during the mela, new opportunities encountered, lessons learned, etc. These should be documented for our future reference. Shri Jiji Mammen, CGM, T & APRO agreed the suggestions of Chairman and DMD and assured that wide publicity will be given to the products of artisans. He also informed that every year this type of exhibitions will be arranged by T & APRO as an annual event.
39 stalls have been erected. Artisans particularly trained under MEDP, SHG programmes, TDF projects of NABARD, from Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States have been participated with their products. The artisans from Tamilnadu displayed Papier Machie wall hangings, face masks, dolls made of coconut shells and Pattamadai Designer fine mats, whereas the artisans from Maharashtra have displayed Kossa sarees, Paithari sarees, silk sarees and Kollahpuri chappals. Artisans from Odisha showcased Handloom and wooden crafts materials whereas the artisans from Kerala displayed pottery items. The artisans from Andhra Pradesh showcased Herbals, Honey products, wooden crafts, handicrafts, doormats, Leather puppets, dress material, artificial jewellery and brass and lace items whereas the artisans from Telangana State displayed Pochampally sarees, blankets, Nighties, photo frames, banjara bags and imitation jewellery.

వేసవి తాగునీటి కష్టాలు లేకుండా పక్బందీ ప్రణాళిక- పంచాయితీరాజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి కె.తారక రామా రావు • 263 కోట్లతో వేసవి తాగునీటి ఏద్దడికి ప్రణాళిక • 45 రోజుల క్షేత్ర స్ధాయి సమీక్ష తర్వతా సమర్ధవంతమైన ప్రణాళిక రూపోందించిన గ్రామీణా నీటి పారుదల శాఖ • గ్రామాల్లోని నీటి వనరుల మరమత్తులు పూర్తి • అవసమైన జనవాసాలకి ట్యాంకర్లతో సరఫరా • జిల్లాల వారీగా వేసవి ప్రణాళికలు రూపోందించాం • తాగునీటి పంపుసెట్లకి విద్యుత్ కనెక్షన్ తొలగించవద్దని కలెక్టర్లని అదేశించిన మంత్రి వేసవి కాలంలో ప్రజల దాహర్తిని తీర్చేందుకు గ్రామీణా నీటి పారుదల శాఖ తరపున సమర్ధవంతమైన ప్రణాళిక రూపోందించినట్టు పంచాయితీరాజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి కె.తారక రామా రావు తెలియజేశారు. గ్రామ స్ధాయిలో అవసరమయ్యే తాగు నీటి అవసరాలను గత కోద్దిరోజులుగా పూర్తిస్దాయిలో సమీక్షించిన తర్వతా ఈ ప్రణాళికను తయారు చేసినట్టు అయన తెలిపారు. 2015 వేసవి తాగునీటి సమస్యల నివారణ ప్రణాళిక ద్వారా 263 కోట్ల రూపాయాలు ఖర్చు చేసి తాగునీటి ఏద్దడి లేకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోబోతున్నట్టు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. గ్రామీణా నీటి పారుదల శాఖ అధికారులు ఈ ప్రణాళిక రూపకల్పన కోసం ప్రిబ్రవరి 1 నుండి మార్చి 15 తేది వరకి 45 ర

METRO WATER BOARD SEIZES ASSETS UNDER RR ACT
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board invoked the RR Act by confiscating mobile assets for non-payment of dues from two defaulters under the jurisdiction of O&M Division. No.X, Sahebnagar on Tuesday the 17th March, 2015.
The occupants of the premises of Plot.No.23, Chitrseema Colony, LB Nagar with CAN No. 0612992603 (failed to pay the dues Rs.22,587/-), Plot.No.46, Besides ICE Factory Line, LB Nagar with CAN No. 0614590427 (failed to pay the dues Rs.20,176/-), already under disconnection, served Red Notice and Form-I under the RR Act for seizing assets but still the customers failed to pay the dues.
Hence, under the RR Act, the moveable assets proportionate to the dues like Bikes etc, were seized In the presence of Sri. V.L. Praveen Kumar, Chief General Manager (E) Revenue Circle; Sri. C. Raja, General Manager (Engg.), O&M Division No.X, Sahebnagar, Sri. D. Srinivas Reddy, Dy. General Manager (Engg.), Sub-Division.No.-II, L.B. Nagar and officials of Vigilance Wing, Task Force of HMWSSB.
Sri. M.Jagadeeshwar, IAS, Managing Director, HMWSSB reiterated that the Board would not tolerate defaulters and consumers are requested to make payments promptly.
Cheap and Best two new phones from Datawind with Rcom network- today launched
DataWind, the company behind the infamous Aakash tablet on Tuesday launched two ultra-budget Android smartphones in India, which also provide free Internet from telco RCom. Both the phones offer free unlimited web browsing for one year on the Reliance Communications network.
The two phones 2G4 and 3G4 - cost Rs.1,999 and Rs.2,999 respectively. Apart from unlimited web browsing, users also get access to unlimited email usage and also access to social networks.
The 2G4 PocketSurfer has a 3.5-inch display and is powered by a single core ARM Cortex A7 SoC clocked at 1.0GHz. It has a VGA camera on the back and has connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which admittedly is borderline obsolete.
The 3G4 on the other hand has a larger 4-inch display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It is also powered by a Cortex A7 single core CPU clocked at 1.0GHz. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a VGA camera on the front. On both the devices, the company claims 3 hours of talk-time and 2 days of standby time.
Both the product will be available March 17 onwards on Naaptol's TV, print and online shopping platforms. Starting March 24 the products will be available on traditional retail outlets from Spice hotspot, Sangeetha Mobiles and others.

Deviprasad High-Tea with IT Professionals
The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has unanimously pledged its support to the TRS nominee Mr. G. Devi Prasad for the upcoming MLC graduate elections to be held on 22nd March 2015. TITA has taken this stand with respect to various development initiatives taken by the TRS government in Telangana for the Information Technology development.
Many employees from various IT organizations in and around Hyderabad had attended the Hi-Tea meeting with Mr. Devi Prasad, organized by TITA on 14thMarch 2015 at Saalz Banquet Hall, Jubilee Hills. Member of Parliament Mr. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Telangana state Planning Commission Vice Chairman Mr. Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Co-Founder-TRS & TITA Honorary President Mr. V. Prakash, Ex. MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, and OSD to TSPC Vice-Chairman Mr. Sangameshwar were the Chief Guests for the program.
Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala congratulated Devi Prasad personally and extended his support to him. He also discussed about generating the awareness among public about the voting for the Graduate MLC elections. Mr. Sundeep has explicated the expectations of the IT employees from the government and had requested Devi Prasad to work towards it. He had expressed his happiness to TITA for conducting successful interactive session and had thanked the IT employees for their over whelming response and requested IT employees to vote for Mr. Devi Prasad.
Answering to the questions raised by IT employees, Mr. Devi Prasad talked about the various initiatives like creation of knowledge centers in rural areas, Employment generation, IT employee’s job security, providing recreation centers. He explained in detail about these initiatives, which he is planning to implement upon his successful victory in the MLC elections and has requested the audience to vote for him in the upcoming MLC graduate elections.
Devi Prasad also said that “We appreciate TITA for organizing this meeting. There is an apprehension in the current society that IT Professionals in today’s competitive world work like machines all the day and they doesn’t have time and interest even to think about their society. But, Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has cleared that false impression among us. We are closely watching TITA from past two years. Their contribution for society is impressive. We have seen Telangana Yuva Nirman – A Skill development
program, creating women safety awareness, Green revolution with a Pledge, Promoting Mission Kakatiya and many more other activities. Also TITA has consistent role in demanding separate statehood for Telangana”
S. Niranjan Reddy, Vice-Chairman – Planning Commission had recollected the role of Telangana NGO Associations during the separate Telangana statehood agitation and applauded Mr. Devi Prasad stint as president of the association and his acumen in steering the employee’s strong support in participating in the agitation.
Speaking on the occasion, Co-Founder, TRS and Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Honorary President Mr. V. Prakash said that Mr. Devi Prasad being from humble background and being represented as President of Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association, can understand the IT employee concerns precisely and can work religiously for their benefit and have requested the IT employees to cast their vote in the coming graduate elections.
Member of Parliament Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said that “Member of Legislative Council has considerable influence in establishing standards of good governance. It is in an ideal position to foster positive relationships between the various elements of local government. These roles require the candidate to have great skills and experience. Rangoli Contest Held in Q City
Hyderabad, March 13.....Q City, the leading multi-tenanted IT Park in Hyderabad held Rangoli Contest for staff in all their tenant companies here in city today at their premisies in Gachibowli. Popularly known as Kolam or Muggu, this folk art from attracted the participation of over 300 from companies such as TCS, DST, Infor, Innominds, PB Systems and others.

The purpose of Rangoli is decoration and it is thought to bring good luck said Ms Ankita one of the participants.

The entire Q City bore festive look with Rangoli all over the vacant places, office spaces. Tastefully designed, drawn rangoli were made using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, coloured sant, flower petals and other metals. There were geometric shapes, deity impressions, flower and petal shapes. We havent used any chemicals, informed Ms. Vani. We have also used dry flour, sindoor, turmeric and natural colours.
