In pursuance of the provision of rule of the Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations (Delimitation of
Wards) Rules, 1996 issued by the Government in G.O Ms. No.570 MA & UD, dated:6.11.1996 and
G.O Ms. No.l24 MA & UD (Cl) Dept. dt:28.9.2015 the residents of Greater Hyderabad Municipal
Corporation are informed that the area of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has been
divided into 150 Election Wards as per the boundary description detailed hereunder.
The residents of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation are requested to file suggestions or
objections if any, to the Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation within (7) days of
Boundary Description
East: The Eastern boundary of Ward No.l starts at GHMC boundary
limits at Dammaiguda road near Bharath Petrol pump and further, it runs
along the Dammaiguda road towards Southern direction up to H.T. line
road on Dammaiguda road.
South: It starts from H.T. line road on Dammaiguda road and runs along
H.T. line road towards Western direction up to Nethaji Nagar X road.
Further it runs along the Petrol pump road up to Dr. A.S.Rao Nagar main
road junction near Petrol pump and turns towards westem direction and
runs along the Sainikpuri road up to Jyothi Rao Pule Statue junction and
further it runs towards Western direction along the Kapra and Malkajgiri
Circle boundary up to Nirmal Nagar chowrastha.
West: The Western boundary starts from the endpoint of Southern
boundary at Nirmal Nagar Chowrastha and runs towards Northern
direction along the Kapra Circle boundary up to Ammuguda near Anitha
Enclave and Sapthagiri Enclave on circle boundary.
North: The Northem boundary starts at end point of Western boundary at
Ammuguda near Anitha Enclave and Sapthagiri Enclave and runs towards
Eastern direction along the circle boundary up to Dammaiguda road at
Bharath Petrol pump.
East: The Eastern boundary of Ward No.2 starts on Dammaiguda road at
GHMC limits near Bharath Petrol pump and runs along the circle
boundary towards Southern direction up to Bhavan Rushi Society layout
and turns towards Western direction and runs through Maruthi Colony and
again tums towards Southern direction and runs along the Maruthi Nagar
road and further turns Western direction and runs through boundary of
Vasavi Shiva Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Bharath Nagar. Further it runs
towards Southern direction and runs through boundary of Bharath Nagar,
Virat Nagar, New Srinivasa Nagar and Subhash Chandra Nagar, North
Kamala Nagar and APIIC Colony up to ECIL junction. Further it runs
through DAE colony up to NFC boundary at ECIL main gate.
South: It starts on ECIL - NFC road at NFC eastern gate on ttrc
boundary and runs towards Western direction along the DAE Colony and NFC boundary up to Kapra Circle boundary limits.
West: It starts at Kapra Circle boundary at DAE Colony boundary and
runs towards Northern direction along the Kapra Circle and Malkajgiri
Circle boundary limits up to Kapra Circle Municipal Office and turns
towards Western direction and runs along the Kapra Circle - Malkajgiri
Circle boundary up to Dr. A.S. Rao Nagar main road up to Petrol pump
junction. Further, it runs towards Northern direction through beside petrol
pump road up to Nethaji Nagar chowrastha.
North: It starts at Nethaji Nagar chowrastha and runs towards Eastem
direction through H.T. line road up to Dammaiguda road and it turns
towards Northern direction and runs all along the Dammaiguda road up to
GHMC limits at Bharth Petrol pump.
East: [t starts on GHMC limits boundary at Pedda Cherlapally and runs
along GHMC limits boundary up to Cherlapally Railway gate on
Secunderabad - Kazipet Railway line.
South: It starts from Cherlapally Railway gate and runs along the
Secunderabad - Kazipet Railway line towards Western direction up to
HCL Township. Further it turns towards Northern direction and runs
through the boundary of HCL township, HCL factory up to ECIL - NFC
road near ECIL main gate.
West: lt starts on ECIL - NFC main road at NFC East gate and runs
towards Northern direction towards ECIL X road up to ECIL Bus stand
junction. Further it runs towards Northern direction through ECIL
