The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has unanimously pledged its support to the TRS nominee Mr. G. Devi Prasad for the upcoming MLC graduate elections to be held on 22nd March 2015. TITA has taken this stand with respect to various development initiatives taken by the TRS government in Telangana for the Information Technology development.
Many employees from various IT organizations in and around Hyderabad had attended the Hi-Tea meeting with Mr. Devi Prasad, organized by TITA on 14thMarch 2015 at Saalz Banquet Hall, Jubilee Hills. Member of Parliament Mr. Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Telangana state Planning Commission Vice Chairman Mr. Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Co-Founder-TRS & TITA Honorary President Mr. V. Prakash, Ex. MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, and OSD to TSPC Vice-Chairman Mr. Sangameshwar were the Chief Guests for the program.
Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Founder & President Sundeep Kumar Makthala congratulated Devi Prasad personally and extended his support to him. He also discussed about generating the awareness among public about the voting for the Graduate MLC elections. Mr. Sundeep has explicated the expectations of the IT employees from the government and had requested Devi Prasad to work towards it. He had expressed his happiness to TITA for conducting successful interactive session and had thanked the IT employees for their over whelming response and requested IT employees to vote for Mr. Devi Prasad.
Answering to the questions raised by IT employees, Mr. Devi Prasad talked about the various initiatives like creation of knowledge centers in rural areas, Employment generation, IT employee’s job security, providing recreation centers. He explained in detail about these initiatives, which he is planning to implement upon his successful victory in the MLC elections and has requested the audience to vote for him in the upcoming MLC graduate elections.
Devi Prasad also said that “We appreciate TITA for organizing this meeting. There is an apprehension in the current society that IT Professionals in today’s competitive world work like machines all the day and they doesn’t have time and interest even to think about their society. But, Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) has cleared that false impression among us. We are closely watching TITA from past two years. Their contribution for society is impressive. We have seen Telangana Yuva Nirman – A Skill development
program, creating women safety awareness, Green revolution with a Pledge, Promoting Mission Kakatiya and many more other activities. Also TITA has consistent role in demanding separate statehood for Telangana”
S. Niranjan Reddy, Vice-Chairman – Planning Commission had recollected the role of Telangana NGO Associations during the separate Telangana statehood agitation and applauded Mr. Devi Prasad stint as president of the association and his acumen in steering the employee’s strong support in participating in the agitation.
Speaking on the occasion, Co-Founder, TRS and Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) Honorary President Mr. V. Prakash said that Mr. Devi Prasad being from humble background and being represented as President of Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association, can understand the IT employee concerns precisely and can work religiously for their benefit and have requested the IT employees to cast their vote in the coming graduate elections.
Member of Parliament Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said that “Member of Legislative Council has considerable influence in establishing standards of good governance. It is in an ideal position to foster positive relationships between the various elements of local government. These roles require the candidate to have great skills and experience. Mr. Devi Prasad is the best choice for us to elect him as MLC. We have seen his commitment for years when was leading TNGO.”
