Hyderabadis Actively Participate in the Prestigious Jagriti Yatra 2015

 

~ Jagriti Yatra is one of India’s largest Entrepreneurship Drive covering 8,000 kms and supported by the likes of Kiran Majumdar Shaw, Sam Pitroda, etc~

 

~Around 70 Hyderabadis participated in the yatra this year, including Mr. Ramesh Loganathan – MD Progress Software & President HYSEA~

 

Hyderabad 5 January 2015: Around 70 Hyderabadis from different Active startup mentor and a veteran technologist from Hyderabad, Mr. Ramesh Loganathan – Managing Director Progress Software and President HYSEA; are participating in the Jagriti Yatra 2015 India’s largest entrepreneurship drive. 

 

Jagriti Yatra is a 15-day long, national entrepreneurship drive conducted through train journeys covering 8000 kilometers across the length and breadth of India. The drive aims to understand and build the India of smaller towns and villages through enterprises. The drive is being conducted over 12 destinations and hosts 500 selected yatris in the age group of 19-27. This year the yatra started from 24^th December 2014 and will end on 8^th January 2015. The selected Yatris this year are a mix from 27 states and 15 different countries. They have been selected out of 17,000 applicants after multiple rounds of elimination.

 

Mr. Ramesh Loganathan Managing Director Progress Software and President HYSEA; has been an active startup mentor and has taken many initiatives for evolving the startup ecosystem. He has been invited as a facilitator and resource person at the Jagriti Yatra 2015 to conduct different sessions in the Business Gyan Tree. (Categories are named as trees at the Yatra). Mr. Loganathan is the only person from Hyderabad to be invited as the resource person for this yatra this year.

Jagriti Yatra is set up under a non-profit charitable organisation Jagriti Sewa Sansthan and is headquartered in Mumbai. Jagriti Sewa Sansthan is based in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh and focuses on skill-development. Jagriti Yatra aims to nurture 1 Lakh (1,00,000) entrepreneurs by 2022 and create 10 Lakh (10,00,000) jobs in this process.
