THE HYDERABAD URBAN HACKATHON
The idea of Hackathon is to create an atmosphere of friendly competition and collaboration across various institutions and verticals. It can also be useful in generating practical solutions to very challenging problems. However, prototypes developed at Hackathon are nascent and thus need further nurturing and incubation. In view of this, the Government of Telangana is encouraging incubation of successful ideas at Hackathon into a full fledged venture.
This also provides a platform for policy makers, programmers and management students to work together for innovation and creation of value towards solving social and urban problems.
